CUSTOM ORDERS
How to sell custom orders on WhatsApp with “Ask for price”
When the final price depends on size, design or scope, make the enquiry clear before it reaches WhatsApp.
- In Your listings, add a specific product or service name. Add a real, representative photo if it helps customers recognize the option; photos are optional.
- Leave the price field blank. OnlineLah displays Ask for price instead of a number; do not enter a made-up placeholder price.
- Preview the page on a phone. Keep each title recognizable—for example, “Custom cake” is clearer than “Cake”—and use a photo that matches what you can actually offer.
- A customer can select the item and prepare a WhatsApp enquiry. Ask-for-price items appear separately and are not included in the priced-items total; the customer chooses whether to send the message.
- In WhatsApp, ask what affects the quote, such as size, design, quantity, date and collection or delivery. Send your quote and confirm availability and payment directly before treating it as an order.
